This weekend Brooke and I went to Seattle to hang out with some friends and do a little shopping. Brooke had never really done the touristy Seattle thing, so Rachellie and I took it upon ourselves to pack the most into the day as possible.
We began our day with coffee and bagels on Queen Anne and a tour of our Alma Mater, then headed to Kerry Park for some photo ops (see above) before catching the downtown ferry to Bainbridge Island. I forget how amazing the view of the city is from the water.

Once on the island, we strolled thru the boutiques and shops, picking up random purchases and finishing our tour at a little coffee shop called Blackbird Cafe. It was very popular and it was easy to see why - delicious looking pastries and desserts filled the cases and they served up a fantastic cup of coffee.
We caught the ferry back just in time to wonder around Pike's Place Market before sitting down for dinner at The Pink Door.
