Last weekend I caught a ride down to Southern Oregon with Chris and Tammy to celebrate my mom's birthday. We kicked it off Saturday morning with brunch with the Birthday Chicks in Grants Pass (minus Shelly, who was busy learning how to give birth - whatever).

The evening was spent out at my mom and Aaron's for the birthday party - complete with friends, BBQ, and swimming. We had a great time, and were quite entertained (at this moment I'm remembering everyone scrambling out of the pool when the lightning got too close).

It was a super fun day :-) It ended up being kind of last minute, which I think added to the fabulousness of it :-D
