Oktoberfest and Susan G Koman

Friday night began with Oktoberfest in Mt Angel - complete with Beer Gardens, sausage, and ridiculous crowds. We met up with Denise, Christy, Ellie and Alivia to wonder around and eat dinner.

Yes, those a trailer bird houses.

The Wine Garden had fun live German music - even Polka!


Saturday morning we got up to go cheer Brooke on as she crossed the finish line of her first (half) marathon!  Look at that grin.

Saturday evening we were able to attend Paige and Laurel's 17th birthday party.

Sunday morning we again met up with Denise, Christy, Ellie and Alivia - and Jessica drove up to join us and Pam met us at the Survivors' tent - for the annual Susan G Koman cancer walk.

We all wore posters showing pictures and names of celebrated and remembered family members.

There were some hilarious costumes, included a bunch of teenage boys wearing shirts stating "I Love Boobies."
