Spaghetti & S'mores

I love spending time my my brother, his wife Jessica, and their little girl Emma - they are a total hoot, hilarious and fun, and completely in love with their daughter.  Last night they drove up to have dinner and enjoy our newly minted fire pit in the backyard.
I forget how much I love s'mores!
We were out of kindling, so Chad heroically took on the chore. There's a bit more sawdust than kindling, but we have a great start for our next fire!  My favorite part was when Emma wondered over and informed him that "daddy, that's not working."
We chatted and roasted marshmallows until almost 10pm.  Emma loved our veggie garden, whispering "its beautiful" the first time she saw it.  We all got attacked by smoke, were covered in sticky marshmallow, and completely entertained by the two year old.  It was a great Tuesday evening!

Thanks again for having us over! That was some of the best spaghetti sauce that I've had (Kate fully agrees) and the company was AWESOME!
We need to do that more often! Next time, our place!

We LOVED having you over! I haven't laughed that hard thru dinner in a long time! And yes, agreed - lets do it again really soon :-)
