This long weekend actually seemed like a long weekend - and its about time! Friday night Brooke, Dominique and I went kayaking down the Willamette River to watch the sunset. We found a great deal on Groupon and they were set to expire, and so was the warm weather, so we got on it. It was the perfect evening - warm, sunny and great views of downtown. And none of us fell in.
Saturday morning of course began with brunch, followed by an afternoon of shopping...
...then a bottle of wine at The Allison in Newberg.
We got hungry, so we headed into downtown Newberg and enjoyed drinks and dinner at Voodoo Martini. Luckily George Fox students can't drink, so the place wasn't too crowded.
Then Sunday night we hosted a Progressive Dinner at our place. It started out as an actual progressive dinner, but traveling around seemed like too much work, so everyone brought their courses to our place. And while Lex was cooking, I was doing this...
We had Indian, Argentinian, Greek, American and French themed food - and I now have a few more favorites!
So long, long weekend. I will miss you!
