On Saturday a group of us girls headed up to Timberline, some to ski, some to board, some to hang out in the lodge, and some to try their hand at snowshoeing.
It was a beautiful, clear day and all of us had a great time pursuing our selected activity.
For me and Dominique, that meant busting out Elise and Brooke's snowshoes and hiking around the mountain, much to the delight of the skiers and boarders, I'm sure.
Check out this day!
We were hooked. Now everyone else can throw themselves down the mountain and we would still have something active to do instead of hanging out at the lodge.
Good thing REI's winter sale is upon us!
Later that evening we celebrated ours' and NOGs' birthday with one of Len's delicious dinners.
For our birthdays, they all got us customized marshmallow roasters and unique and yummy marshmallows!
It was the perfect way to end a ski day!

Truly was a perfect day... skiing, lunch in the lodge, more skiing, and dinner with NOG. Our lives... a little ridiculous! :-)
Wow, I have not looked at snowshoes in years. They are 1/2 the size they used to be. I was picturing you trying to walk on snowboard sized shoes.
