St Patty's Day Weekend

To celebrate St Patty's day, my little cousins, Olivia and Claire, participated in a production of Wicked.  Claire was the Wicked Witch of the East, Nessa, and Olivia was the Wicked Witch of the West, Elfeba.  It was close to the original script, and since those kiddos had a ton of lines to learn, most of it ended up being ad libbed...and they had us rolling.
There was acting, singing, dancing, laughing...everything you'd want in a night at the theater!
Then Brooke and I took part in the Shamrock run with 32,500 participants looking to run in the rain and snow.  We did the 8K and I'm proud to say I ran the whole thing!  I just might be up for it again around this time next year!
Afterward we hiked to Byways Cafe for omelets and coffee, then to the Tea Zone, and finished up at Fred Meyer snatching up their last two pairs of long St Patty's day socks for (in theory) next year.

From the physical humor genious of a scarecrow to the chucking of Toto across the stage... it certainly was a production to go down in history!
