Epic Rafting Trip 2012

This year's Epic Rafting Trip was a huge success - tons of people showed up and we had a great time on the Rogue River.  Our little PDX group decided (at Dominique's suggestion) to be the pirates, and we went full board.  Complete with pink bandannas.

 Within 5 minutes of launching from Ennis Riffle, we successfully attacked our first boat!

Everyone was immediately taken with the whole piracy thing - everyone was boarding each others' boats, stealing weapons, and taking people down (and out of their boats).  

 Lunch was a BBQ at Almeda park.

 After setting off after lunch we come upon the traditional jump off point, and tons of our peeps took the plunge (including Brookie, seen above).

We all said our goodbyes, and made many new Facebook friends, then headed back north Sunday morning.  We of course had to stop for Umpqua ice cream at Rice Hill - the perfect way to end the trip!
