The day after hiking we jumped in the car and started our eight hour trek down to Milford Sound (river scene from Lord of the Rings). Here are some pics along the way.
This is the super creepy tunnel we had to go through. No signals, no lights, no signs.

And luckily we made it out the other side.
We arrived late and tired at Milford Lodge, dropping into bed to get a leg up on our early morning.
