711 Reunion at Whidbey Island

Liz, Rachelle, Megan, Allie and I were college roommates in Seattle, and a couple months ago it was decided we needed a girls getaway reunion.  Liz had the hookup for a house on Whidbey Island so we hightailed it up north, crossed via ferry, and drove down to the water to a cute little house on the Sound.

 First thing was to promptly celebrate mine and Rachelle's birthdays with champagne and yummy chocolate cake.

 Rachelle made breakfast for us Saturday morning.

 And the rest of our day pretty much looked like this...

 but outside looked like this...

 So we ditched the couches/movies/books/snacks to take a little walk.

 Then it was right back to the laziness.  We watched more movies, put together puzzles, and even found Pacman.

 This is Megan's dog Bruno. 

Sunday was there before we knew it and it was time to pack up and head home.  But first we needed some pictures that really summed up the weekend.

 Then Liz stuck her hand in my face. (And Rachelle's a ninja.)

 Then...success!

 I think we all pretty much all nailed the Jazz Hands.

 We headed up the hill for pizza before Liz and Megan took off for home.

 Allie, Rachellie and I toured around town

 and found everything from doggie treat gumball machines

 to puppets and costumes.

 Some more creepy than others.

It was the perfect, relaxing girls weekend!  Can't wait to do it again!
