After a starting the morning with breakfast and delicious coffee beverages, Brooke, Elise and I piled in the car and headed up to enjoy the Butchart Gardens and High Tea.

Just keepin' it classy.
Speaking of classy...
That's right, we're cool.
We loved the gardens and were super excited for high tea
...and it did not disappoint! Wonderful food and tea, and Brooke even ate dessert!
Afterward we headed back to downtown Victoria to do some shopping and walk the boardwalk in day light.
Loving the special parking spot just for smart cars.
We wanted to go to Cafe Brio, but it was closed for a private event (rude). So we contented ourselves with dinner at The Empress, located in the Fairmont on the boardwalk.

It was good, but we were starving and got a bit impatient waiting for our food. Perfect time to bust out the Yahtzee.
We finished dinner as the sun set over the bay. Perfect way to end a perfect day!
