One of the many perks of Lex and Dominique's jobs is that Intel has an employee appreciation department that gets employees access to some pretty fun events, usually through a lottery system. Lex won four tickets to the Hillsboro Air Show, so Friday night we packed up blankets and snacks and headed to the airport.
Intel had a reserved spot right in front. After securing a huge check of ground, Brooke and I left the girls and took a walk around the event,
snapping some pretty fun pics along the way!
I know smoking is bad for you, but is a 15'x15' caged area in the middle of a field really necessary?
Or better yet, a hundred yards behind the port-a-potties?
It was hilarious, but completely ridiculous. Personally, I think that if you don't like people smoking around you in an open air area, then you should just move.
We finished up our tour and headed back to our seats to enjoy the start of the show.
After the air show we made friends with our neighbors while we waited for the event coordinators to setup for the fireworks display.
The fireworks were amazing! At this one there were at least eight launchers, and they had about six songs, each with a customized fireworks show.
After the fireworks ended, all the launchers exploded into fireballs. It has hands down the most fun fireworks display I've ever seen.

agree with brooke! the commentary on the firewooks video is priceless... i'd love to see that Jonny Depp firework sometime in the very near future ;-)
I'm slightly jealous... didn't think it was possible for me to be jealous of your 'air show outing' butttttttt I am. You should probably call me if Intel has room for one more next time :o)
