Panama - Fourth Full Day and Brooke's 30th Birthday!

Good morning, sunshine!

 And happy birthday to Brookie! 

Brooke, Lex and Heidi started off the day with a round of Insanity - Dominique and I started off the day with big cups of coffee, then began cooking the frittata and bacon birthday breakfast.

 (The dining table was immediately moved outside)

 We were all giddy with the opportunity to wear swimsuits and sundresses!  It was over 90 degrees and super humid.  We loved every minute of it.

 This day's beach stop was Red Frog Beach.  With a hostel and resort nearby, it ended up being populated with a nice amount of people and had a full bar/restaurant right on the water.

 (Hopefully I'll have more pics of this beach soon!)

Dominique and I spend almost every minute in the water.  I've never had that much fun swimming in waves!  Really wish I would have remembered to reapply sunscreen.  Oh well.

Close to sundown we jumped back in Pocho's boat and headed back to the house to freshen up for birthday dinner.

 Yes, our lives are ridiculous.

We decided on dinner at Cosmic Crab.  Two of us ordered banana leaf-wrapped fish fillets, two ordered passion fruit shrimp, and one got lobster.  YUM.

Luckily I brought a sparkly crown to really make sure Brooke was fully appreciated on her big day.

It worked!  We made friends with a lovely Holland couple (Emil and Dop, who's below with Brooke),

and a couple firefighters from Indianapolis.

 After dinner we joined them for drinks at their place, 

then headed over to the Aqua Lounge where we finished the evening under the stars, surrounded by 20-year-olds, dancing to really terrible techno music.  Doesn't get much better than that!

Happy Birthday, Brooke! Let's make this one a repeat.
