Cooking Class!

My friend Hannah purchased a cooking class through LivingSocial for a night chopping and cooking at the Portland Culinary Workshop.  She ended up heading to an out-of-town wedding instead and let me snag her pass.
We got our aprons and got to work!
We made mushroom and onion stuffed pork, twice baked potatoes, smoked asparagus with hollandaise sauce, fava bean and radish salad, and blackberry compote (over ice cream) for dessert.
After all the food was prepared, the staff quick-as-a-flash set the tables and we call sat down to enjoy our feast.
The dinner was served with wine pairing, and we had a captive sommelier to answer any and all wine questions we had.
And we made new friends! Brian and Helen are newly weds, and know a ton of the same people from Intel as Lex.  It was quite fun.

Thanks Hannah!

Yummy! Love grilled peach crostini, too. Looks like a great time, Alicia.
