Dawn Marie Got Married!

To celebrate Easter, I hopped a plane to Arizona to visit my dear friend Brandy and celebrate another dear friend's wedding!  Brandy and I each flew into Phoenix around the same time, so after renting my little "go-go" car we were able to catch up over dinner at one of her favorite Italian places, Brio, and at breakfast the next morning.  It was such a short time, but it was fun! (And now she's coming to visit me over Memorial Weekend!)

After brunch I headed out to Chandler to meet up with Lex's parents, Steve and Jane, who not only allowed me to stay in their beautiful guest house, but made me coffee and delicious green smoothies each morning. 

After I got settled, I drove up to Scottsdale to meet up with the bride, Dawn Marie.   The closer we got to wedding time (7:30 on Friday), the more people showed up to help pull everything together.  She has some amazing friends and family, and everything went off without a hitch!

We spent the following afternoon swimming and hanging out by a lake.

Can the weekend finish up any more beautifully than this?  The whole thing went way too fast, but it was so great seeing everyone, catching up, and celebrating such a momentous event!
