To celebrate Dominique's birthday, four of us gals flew down to San Francisco for a low key time together, devoid of pomp and circumstance. So naturally, the weekend started at the Sir Francis Drake, ended touring Stanford in Palo Alto, and encompassed the Starlight Room, a customized pair of Manolo Blahnik pumps, and an exclusive members-only tasting at Rams Gate in Sonoma. Yep, just your average, no-frills kind of weekend.
We kicked off Friday night at the Starlight, with tasty drinks and terrible 70s disco music.

Brooke's aunt was kind enough to get us in for a members wine tasting at Ram's Gate. It was so good. Usually when wine tasting I like a few of the options, but we all agreed every single one here was amazing.

Saturday evening a bunch of Dominique's friends came over to her place for a birthday celebration. It was so great to finally meet the people with all the names I've knows for years. One of them even brought homemade maple bacon ice cream. I mean... Come on... I can now see why she moved there.
And on Sunday we ran around Palo Alto taking it Dominique's world - see her friends, shopping at her stores, touring Stanford, and eating chocolate-and-sprinkle frozen bananas on a stick.
Thank you, weather, for delivering on that order I phoned in, and happy, HAPPY BIRTHDAY Dominique! Love you, lady!
