Lex is Getting Married!

This lady is getting married!! 

Towards the end of next month, Lex gets to marry the love of her life, John.  To kick off the celebration, a group of us ladies joined Lex in Sunriver for a bachelorette weekend extravaganza.  We spent the entire time sleeping in, wandering around the resort, watching movies (all of which contained the word "bride" or "marry" in the title), and enjoying general down time. 

Saturday night was the official party.  Kira organize the perfect evening!  We kicked everything off with dinner at Zydeco, a packed little place with excellent food and drinks.

(The middle of a packed restaurant on a Saturday evening is of course the perfect place for one to open bachelorette party gifts)

After dinner we hit up a few bars to keep the celebration going.

We're not sure if its Bend or just small-town friendliness, but scores of people (men and women) approached Lex to wish her well and/or buy her (and us!) a drink.

One gentleman even purchased a bottle of Dom Perignon for our table (!)

But the evening wouldn't be complete without finishing up with Cajun tots from McMenamins.

It was the perfect weekend!
