DC Day 3: A Trolly Tour, the Pentagon, and Arlington National Cemetary

Monday morning Brooke headed to her conference and Lex and I hopped aboard the Old Town Trolley to fully embrace our tourist-ness, and get a lovely sightseeing tour of the city.
It was especially great since we ended up seeing things we weren't planning on, like the National Cathedral and Georgetown.
Our first stop was the Pentagon - we had a tour scheduled at noon, and since we were the only ones to show up it ended up being a private tour.  We wandered all around, seeing the Secretary of Defense's office and the 9/11 Memorial.  Our next stop was Arlington National Cemetery.
It was SO cold.
JFK's site and the eternal flame
The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
I know we look happy, but our faces were totally frozen.
Then the Lincoln Memorial.
We were so cold, we had to call it.
Brooke and her business associate were suppose to have a business dinner, but he very graciously invited Lex and I to tag along and we ungraciously crashed their dinner.  It was a great way to end the day.
