DC Day 4: The White House, the Spy Museum and an Early Departure Home

Tuesday morning Lex and I, in the freezing cold snow (uphill both ways), booked it about a mile and a half to the White House for our tour.
We only got to see a couple rooms, and were completely done with the tour in less than 30 minutes, but it was worth it.
Unfortunately as soon as we were able to turn our phones back on we learned a number of attendees at Brooke's conference were leaving early due to all the expected flight cancellations the next day (the same day we were planning to leave).  Turned out our flight had also been canceled.  Lex jumped on the phone with United and was able to secure us seats on an evening flight out that night.

We had time for one more stop before heading back to the hotel to pack up, so we hit up the International Spy Museum.
Our cameras weren't allowed in, so there are just some pictures I found online
There's even a place for you - the spy in training - to practice crawling through air ducts and a meter that registered noise, which I happily participated in (PS, I'd make an excellent spy).
